Rod Scott, Founder and CEO

Waer Systems was founded by Rod Scott, an aerospace industry veteran of some 30 years’ standing. Prior to founding Waer, Rod was Managing Director of C J Fox & Sons Limited, where he spearheaded the technology-led delivery of components directly to the production lines of UK aerospace OEMs. In 2001, C J Fox merged with Satair’s OEM business, and Rod then served for five years as CEO to the newly formed Satair Hardware Group. The emerging technologies which Rod championed at C J Fox led directly to the launch and successful development of Waer Systems as a recognised authority in supply chain software solutions.

In addition to his role at Waer, Rod serves on the Advisory Board of the MDHub, www.mdhub.co.uk an organisation that brings together leaders of entrepreneurial businesses based in Sussex. Rod is also a keen golfer and sailing enthusiast. Email Rod at: rscott@waersystems.com

 

David Snelson, Sales Director

David leads Waer’s business development activities, drawing on his substantial client management and C-level selling experience across a 20-year career.

In addition, the user journey through the Waer product range is heavily influenced by David and his passion for excellence in design. David, who joined Waer in 2004, has a BA Honours degree in History/Philosophy from Manchester University and is a 3 handicap golfer. http://uk.linkedin.com/in/davidsnelson

Dave Roberts, Technical Director

Dave joined Waer in 2002, bringing with him more than 15 years of software development experience in the supply chain management field.

As Technical Director Dave is responsible for new software development and hardware infrastructure at Waer. This is driven by a strong commitment to Research and Development to identify the best innovations in the available technology and to deliver their benefits to our customers in a cycle of continuous improvement to our products.

Dave manages the delivery of core releases against our product road map. His team undertakes the design, development and quality control of new software within Waer Systems’ stringent development standards and maintains the Cloud infrastructure on which we deliver WaerLinx to our customers.

Dave has a BSc (econ) from the University of Wales and an MSc in Information Systems from the University of Brighton. His personal interests include triathlons and music. Email Dave at: droberts@waersystems.com

Kim Noyce, Operations Director

Kim joined Waer Systems in 2008 as Project Manager and went on to become the Operations Director in 2010. Kim leads the team that delivers, implements and supports Waer’s products, and has been central to the consulting, testing and rolling-out of new business solutions including WaerFlow, RFID, and Capacity Management. She is passionate about providing excellent service to Waer’s customers, and is particularly adept at finding creative solutions to their business challenges.

Prior to Waer, Kim worked for Satair Hardware where she managed the customer service team responsible for on-time delivery of components to the production lines of aerospace OEMs. For the latter part of her 10 years with Satair, Kim was responsible for selecting and successfully implementing SAP across all the sites of the OEM division.

Dave Mockler, Financial Director

Dave has served as Rod’s financial director for over 20 years, starting with C J Fox & Sons Ltd. based at Shoreham Airport in the UK. C J Fox went through rapid growth during the nineties and Dave was tasked with managing the financial challenges that came with this growth. C J Fox then merged with the Danish aviation distributor Satair A/S, and Dave became financial director of the newly created Satair Hardware Group. Dave gained further due diligence experience through the acquisition of Lentern Aircraft by Satair, and the private equity funding of Waer by Logispring.
